Handheld Hydrogen and Refrigerant Leak Detectors

DXR-240 Hydrogen and Refrigerant Leak Detector

Hydrogen leak detector for HVAC, Automotive and other applications where system can contain either refrigerant gas or H2/N2 tracer gas. The DXR-240 provides the user of two leak detectors in one unit. When rolling up to a leak check job for refrigeration, sometimes the system contains refrigerant gas and sometimes a tracer gas is needed. Hydrogen/Nitrogen tracer gas is non-toxic, non-flammable (in 5% H2 /95% N2 form). This makes 5/95 the idea tracer gas. Simply, leak check for the refrigerant gas and/or a H2/N2 tracer gas mixture as needed. One unit two different leak detection gases. Other features include:

  • 3 Levels of sensitivity to help pinpoint exact leak locations quickly and accurately
  • – 1 g/yr min. sensitivity for HFC, HFO
    – 1 g/yr min. sensitivity for R600 & R290
    – 1.10-5 cc/s min. sensitivity for tracer mixture H2/N2 [equivalent approx. 1 g/yr refrigerant gases]

  • Graduated display and increasing frequency sound to H2 sensing
  • Calibration and automatic zero on the ambient atmosphere.
  • USB C type charging plug, full charge in approx. 12 hours.
  • Protective Storage Case
  • 12 Month Warranty
